The First Legislative Assembly of Telangana was constituted after the 2014 Telangana Legislative Assembly elections which were held on 30 April 2014 and the results were announced on 16 May 2014, with K. Chandrashekar Rao from Telangana Rashtra Samithi taking oath as the 1st Chief Minister of Telangana on 2 June 2014.[1]
