The women's 200 metre butterfly competition at the 1999 Pan Pacific Swimming Championships took place on August 25–26 at the Sydney International Aquatic Centre.[1] The last champion was Susie O'Neill of Australia.[2]

This race consisted of four lengths of the pool, all lengths being in butterfly stroke.[3]
