The 1996 Mjólkurbikarinn was the 37th season of the Icelandic national football cup. It started on 21 May 1996 and concluded with the final on 25 August 1996.[1] [2] The winners qualified for the qualifying round of the 1997–98 UEFA Cup Winners' Cup.
