The 1995–96 Sheffield Shield season was the 94th season of the Sheffield Shield, the domestic first-class cricket competition of Australia. South Australia won the championship, thus making up for their innings and 101 run defeat at the hands of Queensland in the 1994-95 final.[2] [3]
