Monica Seles defeated Judith Wiesner in the final, 6–1, 6–2 to win the women's singles tennis title at the 1990 Miami Open.[1] [2]
Gabriela Sabatini was the defending champion, but lost in the quarterfinals to Conchita Martínez.
