1987–88 Indiana State Sycamores men's basketball team represented Indiana State University during the 1987–88 men's college basketball season.

The Sycamores were led by third year head coach Ron Greene[1] and finished the season with an overall record of 7-21, while going 3-11 in the Missouri Valley Conference.[2]

Roster

The team lost 8 of the 15 players from the previous season.[3] A notable addition to the team was Eddie Bird, younger brother of former Sycamores' player Larry Bird.[4] [5]
