David Dowlen and Nduka Odizor were the defending champions, but both players chose to compete at Sydney during the same week.

Scott Davis and David Pate won the title by defeating Sammy Giammalva Jr. and Greg Holmes 7–6(7–3), 6–7(6–8), 6–3 in the final.[1] [2]
