The 1983 PGA Tour was the 68th season of the PGA Tour, the main professional golf tour in the United States. It was also the 15th season since separating from the PGA of America.
This was also the first season of the "All-Exempt Tour" which provided many more exemptions per year. For example, those that finished in the top 125 of the money list maintained full-time status rather than the top 60 which had been the historic benchmark.[1] [2]
