The 1980–81 Wright State Raiders men's basketball team represented Wright State University in the 1980–81 NCAA NCAA Division II men's basketball season led by head coach Ralph Underhill.
Expectations were high for 1980–81 as the 80s began with an upgraded schedule.[1] Results were equally as high, producing a 24–3 regular season with the only disappointment being a fourth early NCAA tournament exit.
