1979–80 Eastern Counties Football League Explained

The 1979–80 season was the second under this name and the 38th in the history of Eastern Counties Football League a football competition in England.[1]

The league featured 21 clubs which competed in the league last season, along with one new club:

Gorleston were champions, winning their third Eastern Counties Football League title.
