1978 Algerian Cup final explained
The 1978 Algerian Cup Final was the 16th final of the Algerian Cup. The final took place on May 1, 1978, at Stade 5 Juillet 1962 in Algiers with kick-off at 20:00. CR Belcourt won over USK Alger on a penalty shootout after the teams were still tied, 0 to 0, following 30 minutes of extra time. In the shootout, Belcourt outscored Alger, 2 to 0. The match was played before 80,000 people at the Stade du 5 Juillet.[1]
