The 1976 Kansas State Wildcats football team represented Kansas State University as a member of the Big Eight Conference during the 1976 NCAA Division I football season. Led by second-year head coach Ellis Rainsberger, the Wildcats compiled an overall record of 1–10 with a mark of 0–7 in conference play, placing last in the Big 8.[1] Kansas played home games in KSU Stadium in Manhattan, Kansas.
