The 1965–66 Kansas Jayhawks men's basketball team represented the University of Kansas during the 1965–66 NCAA University Division men's basketball season. Led by second-year head coach Ted Owens, the fourth-ranked Jayhawks won the Big Eight Conference title and the automatic berth in the 22-team NCAA tournament.[1] [2]
Kansas' Elite Eight double-overtime loss to eventual champion Texas Western,[3] (now UTEP), was featured in the 2006 film Glory Road.
