The 1961 Parsons Wildcats football team was an American football team that represented Parsons College of Fairfield, Iowa, as a member of the Iowa Conference during the 1961 college football season. In their third and final year under head coach Gary Nady, the Wildcats compiled a 9–1 record (8–0 against conference opponents), won the Iowa Conference championship, lost to Northeast Missouri State in the Mineral Water Bowl, and outscored opponents by a total of 259 to 50.[1] Parson was ranked 12th in the final National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) poll.[2]
