1954–55 New York Knicks season explained

The 1954–55 New York Knicks season was the team's ninth year in the National Basketball Association (NBA). During the regular season, the Knicks achieved a 38–34 record, securing second place in the Atlantic Division.[1] This performance earned New York its ninth consecutive NBA playoff berth.[2] The Knicks lost in the best-of-three first round to the Boston Celtics, 2–1.[1]
