Torneio Início

A Torneio Início was also held, similar to those played in the Carioca and São Paulo championships.[1] The matches were played on the same day (30 January) at the Estádio do Maracanã. Each match lasted 30 minutes, with the number of corner kicks serving as an immediate tiebreaker.
