The 1941–42 New York Rangers season was the franchise's 16th season.[1] In the regular season, New York led the NHL with 60 points, and compiled a 29–17–2 record. The Rangers lost in the NHL semi-finals to the Toronto Maple Leafs, four games to two.[2]
