The 1927 LSU Tigers football team was an American football team that represented Louisiana State University (LSU) as a member of the Southern Conference during the 1927 college football season. In their fifth season under head coach Mike Donahue, LSU compiled a 4–4–1 record.[1]
Tackle Jess Tinsley became the first LSU player selected as a first team All-Southern player since 1919.[2]
