The 1922 VJFL season was the 4th season of the Victorian Junior Football League (VJFL), the Australian rules football competition operating as the second-tier competition to the Victorian Football League (VFL).

won its third premiership, defeating reigning premiers . The sides had met the previous year in the 1921 grand final.[1]

joined the competition at the start of the season, bringing the total number of teams in the VJFL to 10 − one more than the amount of senior VFL clubs. The 19-round home-and-away season began on 7 May and ended on 16 September, with all teams having one bye.[2]
