The 1922 NCAA Track and Field Championships was the second NCAA track and field championship. The event was held at Stagg Field in Chicago, Illinois in June 1922. The University of California won the team title, and nine NCAA records were set at the two-day meet.[1]

Overview

The 1922 NCAA Track and Field Championships were held at Stagg Field in Chicago on June 16 and 17, 1923. The University of California won the team championship with points. Penn State finished in second place with points.[1]

New NCAA records were set in nine events at the meet: 100yard dash, 220yard dash, low hurdles, mile, broad jump, discus, hammer throw, javelin and pole vault.[1]
