The 14th Kiev-Zhitomir Order of Kutuzov Rocket Division (Russian: 14-я ракетная Киевско-Житомирская ордена Кутузова дивизия) (Military Unit Number 34096) is a military formation of the Russian Strategic Rocket Forces. It is part of the 27th Guards Rocket Army.[1] It is garrisoned in Rechnoy, Mari El Republic.[2]
The unit operates RT-2PM Topol intercontinental ballistic missile launchers.
In 1960 the 201st Rocket Brigade was formed from the 234th Artillery Brigade during the formation of the Strategic Rocket Forces. In 1961 the unit was renamed to the 14th Rocket Division.
