Zee News critic wrote that " Director Lakshmi Srinivas was successful as he screened the story as planned along with the story written by him" and gave two point seven five out of five.^[1] The Hans India rated two point five out of five and stated that "On a whole, 14 is a captivating romantic thriller that offers a blend of suspense, romance, and social commentary"^[2]

Sakshi^[3] and News18 critics gave mixed reviews.^[4]
