Tani (letter) explained

Tani (asomtavruli, nuskhuri, mkhedruli თ, mtavruli Თ) is the 9th letter of the three Georgian scripts.[1]

In the system of Georgian numerals it has a value of 9.[2]

Tani commonly represents the voiceless alveolar plosive pronounced as //t//, like the pronunciation of (t) in "table".
