Gamma Sagittarii Explained

The Bayer designation γ Sagittarii (Gamma Sagittarii) is shared by two stars in the constellation Sagittarius:

• γ¹ Sagittarii, a Cepheid variable better-known as W Sagittarii
• γ² Sagittarii (10 Sagittarii), an orange giant
