Δ-Valerolactone Explained
δ-Valerolactone (delta-valerolactone) is a lactone used as a chemical intermediate in processes such as the production of polyesters.[1]
Natural occurrence
δ-Valerolactone can be found in Aspalathus linearis and Clerodendrum mandarinorum.[2]
