Żabnik is a settlement, part of the village of Krobusz, in the administrative district of Gmina Biała, within Prudnik County, Opole Voivodeship, in southern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 5km (03miles) east of Biała, 150NaN0 north-east of Prudnik, and 320NaN0 south-west of the regional capital Opole. Historically located in Upper Silesia, in the Prudnik Land.
The name of the village is of Polish origin and comes from the word żaba, which means "frog".[2]
