Šanov (German: Schönau) is a municipality and village in Znojmo District in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 1,700 inhabitants.

Šanov lies approximately 25km (16miles) east of Znojmo, 48km (30miles) south-west of Brno, and 200km (100miles) south-east of Prague.
