Łąkta Górna is a village and sołectwo in the administrative district of Gmina Żegocina, within Bochnia County, Lesser Poland Voivodeship, in southern Poland.[2] It lies on road number 965, approximately 3.5km (02.2miles) north of Żegocina, 170NaN0 south of Bochnia, and 440NaN0 south-east of the regional capital Kraków.

Łąkta Górna is "Upper Łąkta". The neighbouring village of Łąkta Dolna (Lower Łąkta) is in Gmina Trzciana.
