Éric Guillemain Explained

Éric Guillemain is a French photographer born in Morocco.[1] He worked with Peter Lindbergh and photographed Vanessa Paradis for Vs. Magazine.[2]

Early life

Eric Guillemain was born in Morocco and raised in Paris. He was the lead singer of the French rock band Venice, and moved to New York in 2002 to pursue a career in music. He ended up assisting photographer Peter Lindbergh.

Career

Eric started his photography career working for international clients in advertising and editorial. Eric has photographed celebrities such as Vanessa Paradis, Léa Seydoux, Anya Taylor Joy, Carla Bruni, Norman Reedus, Johnny Depp, Alicia Keys, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Lily Allen, Dakota Johnson, Rachel Weisz, Andie McDowell, Karl Lagerfeld, Nick Cave, Dree Hemingway, Elizabeth Jagger, Milla Jovovich, and Lou Doillon.

Eric's style can be described as stripped down and sudden without filters or device, connected directly through emotion.
